A short, human explanation of how we handle your data when you visit pozri-sem.sk or contact us about catering.

Who we are

Pozri Sem Street Food is Jakub's foodtruck based in Nová Baňa, Slovakia. You can reach us at pozrisemsf@gmail.com or +421 948 899 369.

We are the data controller under the EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) and Slovak Act 18/2018.

What data we process and why

Data you send us yourself. If you email or call us (e.g. about catering), we keep your name, email, phone and event details only until the booking is completed. Invoicing data tied to issued invoices is archived for 10 years — required by Slovak accounting law.

Site visits (Google Analytics 4). If you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner, we run Google Analytics 4 — an anonymized analytics tool. We see things like visit counts, popular pages, country, browser and session duration. It does not collect your name, email or personal identifiers. IP addresses are anonymized.

Essential cookies. The site uses small technical cookies — to remember your language choice, light/dark theme and your cookie-banner decision. The site wouldn't work without them, so they aren't opt-in.

Your consent

On your first visit you'll see a bottom cookie banner. You can choose:

Accept all — we also enable Google Analytics.

Only essential — Google Analytics stays off, you browse fully anonymously.

You can change your mind any time by clearing cookies in your browser — the banner will reappear on your next visit.

Who we share data with

Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) — only if you consented. Data is processed within the EU/EEA.

Web hosting (Websupport.sk DNS, server inside the EU) — keeps server logs with anonymized IPs for max 30 days.

We don't send your data to anyone else, don't sell it and don't use it for marketing.

How long we keep data

Google Analytics data: 14 months (auto-deleted afterwards).

Server logs: 30 days.

Email / phone communication: as long as it's relevant to the business relationship.

Invoices: 10 years (Slovak tax law).

Your GDPR rights

You always have the right to:

Access the data we have on you.

Rectify incorrect data.

Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — except data we must keep by law (e.g. invoices).

Restrict processing or port your data.

Object to processing.

Withdraw consent any time — one click in the cookie banner or an email.

Lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority — dataprotection.gov.sk.

Security

The site runs on encrypted HTTPS (Let's Encrypt). The admin panel is protected with a strong password and JWT session. Server logs are rotated regularly.
